That wouldn't surprise me at all. Maybe he has a whole fleet of disposable vehicles.

I think that would be ill-advisable.

If you see one of these in Brazil, 90% of the time it belongs to:
-A mason
-A carpenter
-A welder / locksmith / blacksmith
-A plumber
-And if it has a set of stairs on top, it belongs to "an independent telecommunications contractor".
Not a single one of them will have both brake lights working. 50% won't have both headlights working either. And the bodywork will be in worst condition than this one, with lots of rust specially on the mud flap area, faded-to-white or fade-to-bare paint, and not a single panel will be free of kinks / dents. 70% will have those plastic side skirts with a large chunk missing in any side of the car.
But these GM Monza's are nigh indestructable; if their engines don't need to be reconditioned after 20.000 miles, they won't ever break down again.
